What to know before your visit

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT

Here are a couple of elements to consider before planning your trip to Domaine de L'Ange-Gardien.

Reservations:

  • We have put your disposal the possibility of reserving your spot for a specific date.
  • If you do not wish to reserve your spot or if reserved tickets are sold-out, or if it is less that 12 hours before your chosen date and reserved tickets cannot be bought, we have kept a small number of non guaranteed spots on a first come, first served basis.  We suggest that you arrive either at opening time (or slightly before) or in the middle of the afternoon.
  • Upon your arrival at Le Domaine de L'Ange-Gardien, each person will be required to sign a liability waiver before buying a snow tubing ticket.  The parent / guardian will have to sign a waiver for each minor.
  • You can print and bring the signed waiver to accelerate your registration process upon your arrival. Liability waiver
  • The runs are always monitored for security.
  • The hill includes 8 different runs of different inclines.
  • The degree of difficulty is aimed to families.
  • Runs are lit on saturdays until 9:00 p.m.

What to bring:

  • Snow pants are indispensable to appreciate this winter activity. Don't forget them!
  • Helmet wearing is recommended for the security of all.  Bring your own or rent one on site for 5$.
  • Tubes are included in your daily pass.  You cannot bring it from home.                 

Children:

  • Snow tubing runs are accessible to children 3 years old and older
  • Children 3 to 6 years old: Adult supervision required at all times.
  • Children 7 to 10 years old: Adult supervision is recommended.

Rules and Regulations on the hills:

1.  One person per tube, including children.

2. A maximum of 2 people can slide together.

3. Hold tube rope of the other person you are sliding with.

4. Wait until the bottom of the hill is clear before sliding.

5. Always sit in the tube (when sliding and on the lift).

6. Get our of the way as soon as tube has stopped at the bottom of the hill.

7. Do not cross over protective barriers between the tubing runs.

8. Always listen to security staff.

9. Do not touch lift cable.

10. Please advise employees of any injury or accident.

ANY PERSON VIOLATING THESE RULES COULD BE EXPELLED FROM THE SITE WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT OR EXCHANGE.

Security: 

  • The towlift and the 8 snow tubing runs are maintained daily to maintain quality and security. The towlift is equipped with an automatic emergency button and a manual stop button at the top and bottom of the hill.
  • Our installations are inspected annually by the Québec Building Inspection department (Régie des bâtiments) as to certify our conformity with all necessary security standards.
  • Our towlift staff are always available to assist our clients or to give them the necessary information for the correct use of the towlift. When we receive groups, we increase the amount of staff present and with the help of group chaperones, we can then insure a better security for all.

Chalet and Cafeteria:

  • Clients can come inside the main chalet to warm up and eat from our cafeteria.
  • Clients can bring in their homemade lunch. Unfortunately, food from other restaurants will no be accepted.  
  • There are no lockers available. Leave your valuables and lunch in your vehicule.
